Vision
PTVAIM’s COEI shall be a leading incubation facility in India which stimulates entrepreneurial culture, spirit of innovation and fosters development of start-ups as well as SME.

Mission

  • To provide a platform for nurturing sustainable entrepreneurial ventures and imbibe entrepreneurial spirit among students of PTVA family and eventually the society.
  • To create state of art infrastructural setup and provide best possible support and guidance to members of the centre.
  • To build a bridge between ideation and actualization of business and develop job creators.

PTVAIM’s Centre of Entrepreneurship & Innovation was established in 2015 as an E-cell. Due to the kind of meaningful activities done by COEI, the E-cell got converted into a student-based incubation centre in 2018 and became the driving force behind development of strong start-up eco-system within all colleges of parent trust Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association. Currently COEI runs pre-incubation &incubation programme and PTVAIM’s IIC and organizes almost 30+ year-long activities promoting entrepreneurship. COEI have recently curated PTVAIM’s Innovation & Start-up Policy and as an incubation centre is gearing up for running the new course of MBA in Innovation Entrepreneurship & Venture Development from academic year 2021-22.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India had launched a program to inculcate entrepreneurship at educational institutes. PTVA’s Institute of Management is Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) instituted under joint aegis of MHRD Innovation Cell (Government of India) and AICTE. PTVAIM’s business incubator titled Centre of Entrepreneurship and Innovation is the key entity that runs all IIC and self-driven programs in PTVAIM. It focuses on supporting and nurturing aspiring entrepreneurs, with a special focus on creating a conducive environment for conceptualization of businesses of students.

Four members team COEI and IIC council current & prospective members, Dr. Sucheta Pawar – IIC President, Ms. Ridhima Mahabal- IIC convener, Mr. Mandar Salaskar – IIC council member and Mayur Khanvilkar – Prospective convener of IIC council attended the meet at Pune.

It was the 6th regional meet of IICs, where more than 550+ faculty representatives from 250+ institutions from Western Region (Maharashtra) and Goa took part. PTVAIM had also displayed its standee describing our key activities. Regional meet consisted of various sessions such as An Impact Session on IIC Model, Participatory Approach, Achievement and Performance Maximisation through Quality Participation of HEIs, Policy Awareness and Advocacy Session on I&E Initiatives of MIC & AICTE, Participation Drive Session on YUKTI-National Innovation Repository (NIR) and Orientation Session on Data Submission for ARIIA 2022. PTVAIM’s IIC members did the networking with other IIC council members.

We also got an opportunity to meet Mr. Anand Ganu, founder- Garje Marathi Global and our partner, Mr. Ashish Garde CEO of MAGIC & Mr. Sanjay Inamdar Co-founder of BHAU institute and also architect of the new programme MBA-IEV. Post lunch there were 4 tracks of sessions. Our IIC members spread into 4 tracks and attended the sessions. Ms. Ridhima Mahabal attended Track 1 i.e. : ‘Knowledge sharing session on IIC’, Dr. Sucheta Pawar attended Track 2: Knowledge sharing session on NISP, Mr. Mandar Salaskar attended Knowledge sharing session on ARIIA and Mr. Mayur Khanvilkar attended Track 4: Knowledge sharing session on IP and Technology Transfer. Meeting concluded at 5:30 PM. And the team returned on the same day.
