Finance Department of PTVA’s Institute of Management (PTVAIM) in association with Department of GST, Government of Maharashtra (Knowledge Partner) had organized two courses on Goods and Services Tax (GST) during AY 2017-18. The inaugural function was graced by Mr. Rajiv Jalota (IAS), State GST Commissioner, Dr. Amit Saini (IAS), Joint Commissioner – Sales Tax, Maharashtra and Mr. Vasant Pichad, Joint Commissioner – Maharashtra State Skill Development Council (MSSDC). The Assistant Commissioners – State Taxes, Maharashtra State delivered the training on various topics covering CGST, IGST, SGST, computation of GST and input credit and GST return filing to the participants through two courses. First course was held during 5th till 7th October 2017, wherein 55 students together from PTVAIM and the sister concerns of PTVA had participated. Second course imparted training to Vocational Training Providers (VTPs) during 23rd till 27th October 2017, wherein 44 VTPs from different areas of Maharashtra had participated and benefited.
