Navadhaara 2019
Student’s Skill Development Programme - PTVAIM's NAVADHAARA

It was held in our campus from 16th to 19th March, 2019 and was concluded with Grand Finale on 25th March, 2019. NAVADHAARA offered a unique platform to our full time and part time students to participate in below activities. Faculty organizing team involved CA Ajit Joshi, Ms. Shalini Kakkar, Mr. Abhishek Deokule, Dr. Anand Hindolia and CA Rajul Murudkar.

Corporate Connect

A role play based activity depicting functioning of corporate. Scenarios included recruitment interview, appraisal, board room presentation, sexual harassment at work place etc. Total 5 teams performed with around 30 participants. The best performer team was judged based on the concept knowledge, and effective communication skills.

Bazaarhaat

Flea market with assortment of stalls for students' to exhibit their business acumen. Around 80 participants put up 23 stalls for edible and non-edible products in the parking area of PTVAIM. The best stall was rewarded based on showcasing the skills in terms of marketing and promotion, profitability, creativity etc.

Mumbai-Nashik-Mumbai

Three days industrial visit to Nashik. 50 students visited NGO (Lokpanchayat), printing press (Lokmat), Sula Vineyard, Manufacturing unit (Storewell).

Jhalak

Cultural flavour to the event to encourage hidden talent in the students. 50 students participated through 22 performances. 

Grand Finale

10 finalists (5 females and 5 males) were nominated based on their academic performance, faculty recommendation and their performance in NAVADHAARA. This number was further narrowed down to select one Mr. and one Ms. PTVAIM by judging them based on their performance in Group Discussion Round, Business Quiz, Judges Round and Audience Poll.

Students were also briefed about the funding requirements for conducting this event and encouraged for getting sponsorship. We could arrange sponsorship in monetary terms to the tune of Rs. 90K, which could help us manage entire show without any financial burden on the institute.
